Opportunities for Giving

The College of Education is on an upward trajectory. Education graduates become teachers, administrators and counselors who enhance students’ personal and professional capabilities. They are in high demand by school districts throughout Texas and the region, and are noted for being effective and caring professionals.

The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation Education Complex was dedicated in September 2007.  With the completely restored Bailey Building and the new Betsy and Steve Palko Hall, the complex has tripled the college’s space.  Students can simulate actual teaching scenarios within the classrooms and laboratories.  The 10 new classrooms and 150-seat lecture hall are equipped with the latest technology and tools.

Preparing for Future Challenges and Possibilities
With state-of-the-art facilities in place, the College of Education has the opportunity to prepare our graduates for the future. Your support will help assure that the College of Education continues to develop effective, ethical educators with a passion for learning.

The Campaign for TCU College of Education

For those who love Texas Christian University and are passionate about its future, the coming years provide unprecedented opportunities.  From TCU’s most recent strategic planning effort a vision of what the University can become has emerged: an institution that delivers a world-class, values-centered university experience. To achieve educational excellence the University is embarking upon its most ambitious comprehensive fund-raising campaign, The Campaign for TCU, with a goal of $250 million.

As part of The Campaign for TCU, the College of Education has set campaign goals that reflect a commitment to transform education at all levels.  Investing in the College of Education and TCU will yield advances in teaching and learning, enhance educator preparation and help address the most critical issues and concerns in education.
