Financial Aid Deadlines

 

Tuition Assistance Program Application deadline is March 16

Teaching Assistance Application deadline is March 16

Startpoint Associate Application deadline is March 16

 

Graduation Deadlines

 

September 19 - File an Intent to Graduate form in the Graduate office, Bailey 208.  Students doing a Thesis should obtain and consult the current Thesis Manual. A non-refundable fee is charged to the student when an Intent to Graduate is filed.

 

October 31 - Final draft of your Thesis should be available for your committee.

 

November 21 - Areas should schedule final orals for all degrees.  Students are responsible for notifying the Graduate Office of the date.

 

At least two days prior to oral - Thesis and Dissertation Writers:  An electronic copy of the thesis or dissertation should be brought to the Graduate Office for approval.  It should be carefully proofread and in its final form, except for any changes that might be suggested at the final oral.

 

December 5 - Final orals/defenses must be completed.

 

December 12 - All thesis or dissertation paperwork should be in the Graduate Office by 3:00 p.m.  The last day for Dean's approval of final (uploaded) version of thesis or dissertation.  Last day to cancel intent to graduate.  Should it be necessary to delay graduation, fill out a Cancel Intent to Graduate form or notify the Graduate Office to do so.  It will be necessary to complete another Intent to Graduate form and pay associated fees for new date.

 

December 20 - Degrees awarded.
